This policy explains what DealAware ("we") collects when you use dealaware.app, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you use a retailer button: the product, offer, retailer, the page you came from, the time, and a one-way code made each day from your IP address and browser type. We do not store your IP address. We use this to count clicks, stop abuse and understand which pages help people.
When you send us a message: the name, email address and message you enter. We use it only to answer you.
Favorites and language: kept only in your own browser. We do not receive them. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (for example time, page requested, IP address, browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run advertising cookies or third-party analytics. We do not offer visitor accounts.
Services we use
Google Cloud hosts the site and database. Google Fonts provides the fonts; your browser requests them from Google. Product pictures load from Amazon's image servers. When you click through to a retailer, that retailer and its affiliate program handle your visit under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Click records: [retention period]. Messages: until the question is resolved and then [period]. Server logs: as set by our hosting provider.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@dealaware.app. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights; we will respond as the law requires.
Children
DealAware is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
